Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Desktop Tracer ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement.

2. Description of Service

Desktop Tracer provides a web-based augmented reality drawing tool that allows users to overlay reference images on their webcam feed for tracing purposes. The Service includes both free and premium subscription tiers.

3. User Accounts

When you create an account with us, you must provide accurate, complete, and current information. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms.

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for any activities or actions under your account.

4. Subscription and Billing

Free Tier: Limited to 1 saved project and 2 layers per project. Includes live camera and AR tracking, phone-as-camera, all composition guides, the magnifier loupe, image filters and edge detection, and export to image.

Pro Tier: Unlimited projects and layers, snapshots and version history, the project board and tags, the full color toolkit including AI analysis, smart crop, and the premium asset library. Billed annually at $39/year. Pro is sold on an annual basis only; there is no monthly plan.

All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. You are responsible for paying all taxes associated with your use of the Service.

Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled before the renewal date. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis within 14 days of purchase.

5. User Content

You retain all rights to the artwork and images you create using the Service. We do not claim ownership of your content.

You grant us a limited license to store and process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

6. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the Service:

• For any unlawful purpose or to violate any laws
• To infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others
• To upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
• To attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
• To resell or redistribute the Service without permission

7. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Desktop Tracer and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

8. Limitation of Liability

Desktop Tracer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use or inability to use the Service.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or through the Service.
